Val's Guitars

 

For guitar players, or just anybody who loves guitars, here are pictures of Val's guitars.

1993 Chrome Fender Custom Shop Strat. 1 of 150.  This is the only one that does not have etchings for Harley Davidson, Or Mustang, or Aloha Palm trees.

Val built this Strat in 2014 using all Fender USA parts.  Pickups are Fender Vintage Noiseless.  Bridge pickup is a PRS Mark Tremonti, locking tuners, rolled edge,neck with 70's style head

2000 Fender Strat, with Fender Lace Sensor pickups. This guitar is used for slide playing. The middle pickup is best for that.

Val built this Strat-style guitar under his own label.  This is a Serrie Stratmaster with ebony fingerboard and Fender vintage noiseless pickups

This is a 1980 Fender Stratocaster autographed by Eric Johnson

This is a 1975 Fender Jazzmaster vintage guitar.  All original.  Very thin and narrow neck. Plays great, sounds like Bells

PRS SE Paul Allander, wide thin neck + tremolo.  Amazing guitar to play, and the sound is incredible.

Washburn ES-355 Jazz Guitar

2014 B.C. Rich Bich 6 & 12 string doubleneck

Very new, not yet used on any recordings, but it's in the plans for upcoming projects

1976 B.C. Rich handmade US Eagle Supreme.  This replaced the original 1973 white Les Paul Custom as the primary touring guitar.  Incredible build quality.  Solid Hawaiian Koa wood. 

1976 B.C. Rich handmade US Eagle Fretless Bass.  In 2013, the pickups and all electronics were replaced with new parts.  Original parts saved, but it sounds much better now.  Solid Hawaiian Koa wood.

Schecter Diamond Series 5 string bass. This is the go-to bass for most recordings.  Play and sounds great, reliable, and has that deep low B 5th string that a lot of tunes need.
